For face serum, use 2-3 drops (0.1-0.15 ml or 100-150 mg). For face and neck, use 4-5 drops (0.2-0.25 ml or 200-250 mg). One drop is approximately 0.05 ml or 50 mg for most serums.
A pea-sized amount of face cream is about 0.5-1.0 ml (500-1000 mg). For face and neck, use 1-2 ml (1000-2000 mg), approximately a nickel-sized amount.
Facial oils are typically used in 2-4 drops (0.1-0.2 ml or 90-180 mg). Since oils have lower density (≈0.9 g/ml), they occupy slightly more volume than water-based products of the same weight.
1% vitamin C in 30 ml serum means 300 mg of vitamin C. Formula: (concentration % × volume ml × density g/ml × 1000) ÷ 100. For water-based serum: (1 × 30 × 1.0 × 1000) ÷ 100 = 300 mg.
